Senior Portrait Photography

Patrick Senior Shoot

Hey, I get it. Guys hate getting their photos taken. They thinks it's going to be lame and drawn out and just tiresome. When I shoot guy's senior photos, I keep them simple but provide excellent range. If you notice, the photos below show excellent variation but were all take in less than 25 minutes at the Waverly Community House. The gym shot was done with one off camera flash positioned to the left with an umbrella. The headshot was done inside using only natural window light and it looks like to was done in a hi-end studio. The golf attire shot was done outside of course, strictly natural light. All photos are slightly edited but not far from the original images.

Remember, when it comes to senior photos, family photos or any photo for that matter, it's about quality not quantity. I'd rather provide my clients with a handful of AMAZING prints that are timeless than 50 average mini-session images any day. And thankfully, Steven Serge Photography clients recognize that.

Don't forget, I still no longer charge session fees up front. Pay nothing, see your photos, purchase what you love (not just what you like).

Morgan...Senior Portraits

Let's be honest for a moment. Guys hate having they're picture taken. Especially guys in high school. Girls are easy because there's a fashionista side to getting their portraits done but boys typically could care less. My main goal when shooting a guy's senior photos (other than awesome photos) is to make them quick, efficient & fun. Depending on the person & parent's permission, I'll even offer to let them bring a good buddy along provided that's a good buddy that can make them laugh and lighten things up. Morgan (or Iggy as his Dad referred to him) didn't need a buddy. His Dad was his buddy and helped me along with getting a few chuckles, smiles and most importantly, making some awesome photos in an efficient & fun senior session.

(photographer's update: Pleased to announce that Morgan was just accepted to & will be attending the University of Pittsburgh)
